How to setup Outlook 2007

Step 1:

From the "Tools" menu, select "Account Settings"

Step 2:

Click on "New..."

Step 3:

Select "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP", and click "Next".

Step 4:

Click on "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next"

Step 5:

Choose "Interner Mail" and click "Next"

 

Step 6

All text boxes on this screen must be completed.
1. Your Name: The name that will appear when sending e-mails.
2. Email Address: Your email address
3. Email Type: POP3
4. POP3 Server: mail.alspanet.com
5. SMTP Server: mail.alspanet.com
6. User name: Your user name is your full email address (ie: "myemail@alspanet.com" ).

After completing the boxes, click "More Settings".

Click on "Outgoing Server" tab

Make sure "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is checked and "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected.

Click "OK"
